When our father turned Wareing’s Gym over to us in 1978, we maintained the commitment to family traditions and beliefs of proper exercise. That means dedication and hard work. Show up, again and again. Go for one more rep or mile when it doesn’t seem possible. It also means no frills, just results. Sure, we offer an excellent facility, equipped with everything you need to get fit. But we’re most concerned with results, helping you become a healthier you. Although Wareing’s Gym’s approach to fitness has always been substance over frills, a few niceties can make a difference in helping you stick with the program. Our two-story, 20,000 square foot facility includes: Locker rooms (includes steam rooms, showers and infrared sauna), Two major workout areas (each with cardio and strength training equipment), Cardio theater in both workout areas, Boxing ring, Aerobics room with spring floor, Yoga room, Free childcare service, Co-ed and single-sex designated workout areas. The upstairs gym is co-ed all the time while our downstairs facility alternates between male and female only days Monday through Saturday, and is co-ed on Sundays.
